Hey there everyone,

I would like to shed some light on a new initiative that I first learned about at the Hackathon last year. CapX is a platform to exchange skills and knowledge, especially in the context of Wikimedia-wide projects, but also in general organisational skills that are connected to the work with communities, tech, and communications.

I'm really inspired to see what they build, especially because we met when everything was just starting.

I highly encourage you to take a look at their tool, explore the different capacities listed and create an account if you wish to contribute and/or learn from others.

You can explore the tool following this link: https://capx.toolforge.org/

You can watch this video to learn how to create an account: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:How_to_create_an_user_profile_on_CapX.webm

And you can also join the Telegram group to follow more news and exchanges: https://t.me/+JDFvLqylJyJmYTJh

Of course, there's a dedicated Meta Page as well: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Capacity_Exchange

Do you have an idea of WIkibase related skills that you would like to offer to others? Drop me a note; I'm happy to juggle ideas with you 🐋🎊🍀

Best,
Valerie Wollinger (She/Her)
