After being silent for a year, there's finally some good news: Save the Web Project (a web archiving initiative) just created WikiKeeper <https://wikikeeper.saveweb.org/>: a website similar to WikiApiary.
It tracks the number of pages, edits, active users, as well as indexing available wiki dumps. The website has a main focus of web archiving, and lacks a lot of functionality compared to WikiApiary.
Hope this website can be a good reference for WikiApiary.
