Today we’re marking *Wikipedia’s 25th birthday* 🎉 We just wrapped up the Global Community Birthday Party[1] and we’d love to continue that momentum with a moment dedicated specifically to the *Wikimedia Research community*.

Next Thursday, we’re hosting a special edition of the* Research Showcase* focused on celebrating *research, researchers, and the behind-the-scenes work* that has shaped Wikipedia and free knowledge over the past 25 years. This showcase is different from any other: it’s a space for the research community to come together, reflect, and celebrate our shared contributions and curiosity.

If you haven’t registered yet, this is a friendly reminder to join us for the celebration.

The program includes:
