provenance, among other criteria:

Has anyone done any research on a by country basis?
I'm trying to fill out http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/WikiWomenCamp/FAQ/Perspectives
a bit and I'm looking for assistance. I know there has been some
research but not sure what and where, and what the breakdown was
when analysis has been done. Has anyone done comprehensive
research on this subject in terms of participation?
