Thanks to you both,

Going from one bibliography to another, I was well aware of the academic literature till 2011. After that, it was logically getting less obvious…

My work aims mainly to compile numerous data gathered in preceding case studies. I have identified several interesting correlations (even though, the sample remains too small to be really definite). For instance, educational wikis with small communities (less than 50 students) have always been successul while wider communities attempts turned out less well.

The work also focus on the "epistimic" value of the wiki, as a representation of scientific communities. Wiki students get acquainted with some valuable epistemic practices and norms, such as collaborative research and critical thought.

Your suggestions are really interesting by that concern : the AssessMediaWiki app as a way to enhance data measurements and the "Peer supported Problem Solving" as a deeper analysis of the epistemic part.

PCL

I'm working on wiki methodologies/technologies for educational assessment, and there is a wide research field ahead. New methodologies for assessment are needed, with suitable computer tools to support them. This is specially critical when the number of students increase and in on-line collaborative learning

You can see some discussion on it in "Assessment of collaborative learning experiences by graphical analysis of wiki contributions", published in the journal Interactive Learning Environments (29 May 2012). The PDF is in Research Gate.

Additionally, we are working in another tool, AssessMediaWiki [1], but we only have an initial conference paper about it .

If you need further information don't hesitate to contact me ;-)

Kind regards,

Interesting venue :)  One piece of published work you might want to
take a look at is this:

Joseph Corneli and Alexander Mikroyannidis, Crowdsourcing Education on
the Web: A Role-based Analysis of Online Learning Communities, in
Alexandra Okada, Teresa Conolly, and Peter Scott (eds.), Collaborative
Learning 2.0: Open Educational Re- sources, IGI Global, 2012

That serves to set the stage for my soon-to-be-forthcoming thesis,
