But occasionally a Wikipedia article will NOT be highly ranked, and will appear only in google 20-30+ or even further down the line . I don&#39;t think time should be a factor, google crawls Wikipedia very often, I&#39;ve had new articles of mine appear in searches within hours, sometimes minutes, of being published.<br>
<br>
One factor I know of is language, but for this question let&#39;s assume English language article, searched for using English language google front.<br>
