Dear ENRESSH Community members,
I would like to share an exciting opportunity for prospective PhD
candidates interested in innovation management, science and technology
studies, and science policy research.
The University of Valencia (Spain) is offering a fully funded 4-year PhD
position within the research project SIBSUIC: "Social Impact Beyond
Successful University-Industry Collaborations", funded by the Spanish
Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities. The project aims to
explore how science-society collaborations generate broader social
impacts beyond the actors directly involved.
The successful candidate will join the research team led by Prof. Julia
Olmos-Peñuela and Prof. Ana García-Granero, receiving training in
advanced research methods, opportunities for international research
stays, conference participation, and support to successfully complete a
PhD dissertation aligned with the project's objectives.
We are particularly interested in applicants with backgrounds in:
Innovation Management
Business and Management
Economics
Science, Technology and Innovation Policy
Related Social Science disciplines
Experience with quantitative and/or qualitative research methods, data
analysis, and statistical software (e.g., R, Stata, SPSS, Python) is
highly valued.
Application deadline: September 20, 2026. Applications should include a
CV and a brief motivation letter.
