Thank you, dearest Maggie. I imagine this fire has hit close to home for most of us here in Texas. My brother's Renaissance festival--Sherwood Forest Faire--has narrowly escaped the fire, but for now it's been spared. My son, Zane, works and lives out there and has been evacuated from his home.
But we have friends who have lost everything--their pets, their homes and belongings--all but their lives. But that's the better part--except for a couple of tragedies in far east Texas, the people have all survived.
Love to Doc and all of you. I think of you all daily.
