Hi
y'all,
Jayne and
I were thinking again, and talking about costumes or costume bits, and we
mentioned some thoughts to Stan who said it was along the lines of what the
commitee had been discussing, and she thought it might be usefull to forward
these ideas to the committee. Basically we thought that if everyone was
wearing basic black, something like yoga pants or footless tights maybe, then
costume pieces could be used like props. For example, if we made a big
black, or colorful even, rectangle out of some fabric not needing to be
hemmed or ironed, then it could become a skirt, a shawl, a wrap, a cape or what
you will. We took a few photos since I was playing with a similar
type of skirt I have. It kind of illustrates the idea......the fabric
would be different than that in the photos, and ignore the long ties at the ends
and my bad hair, but....what do y'all thinkl?? I think we can
possibly get some cheap fabric from Jayne's mom who still owns a fabric/sewing
shop.
I attached the
photos as a word document to reduce them in size. Let me know if you need
a different format.
big
hugs,
kathy
