Being laid off at the nadir of the downturn landed me in a better place. Will hope--and trust--the same thing happens for you. In the meantime, here's the best advice I got last January: be sure to see folks you love, and go to movies. Your talents will out!

I'm not sure what it is about reunions, exactly, but after the 2005 reunion I was laid off from my job then as Legal Director at Public Knowledge. This year I've been asked to resign from Wikimedia Foundation after pointing out some deficiencies in our handling of chapter affiliates. So, once again, I'm looking for a job, dammit. Let me know if you hear of something to which I might apply my talents.
