Hi everyone,
The latest tech newsletter is ready for early translation: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Tech/News/2015/33
Direct translation link: https://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Translate&group=pag...
I'm planning to send the newsletter on Monday afternoon (UTC), i.e. Monday morning PDT. The existing translations will be posted on the wikis in that language.
There may be a few more edits by Friday, but the existing content should generally remain fairly stable. Guillaume will let you know on Friday in any case.
Let me know if you have any questions, comments or concerns. As always, I appreciate your help and feedback.
Thanks!

Just a quick note to let you know that the text of the newsletter is now final. There are 3 new items since yesterday. There won't be any more changes; you can translate safely :)
Thank you, and have a great week-end.

I'm sorry, Jonan, but this edit [1] was somewhat lame. It caused that unit to be sent untranslated :(

Oh. I'm sorry. :( The reason for the edit was that commons: was working fine on all wikis except for on, well, Commons, where it created a red link. Which doesn't mean I should have accidentally invalidated all translations, especially not after already having done my test run for translations. I'll see if I can find all affected pages and reinsert the translations of the unit in question manually. Thank you for pointing it out to me so quickly!

This should now be fixed on all* pages (Meta, community pages, user talk pages) for all languages that had translations of the unit. Thank you for your translations, and for your patience with my mistakes. I sure hope I'm not likely to make that one again.
*) Except for two Flow pages on wikis where editing other users' Flow posts is restricted.

Hey Johan, thanks for all your work on this, Tech News has been an invaluable resource for me as a tech ambassador! (And thanks to Guilleaume for all his work so far, of course!)
One nitpick: looks like you sent the mail about this week's Tech News by replying to your own mail about last week's Tech News. Could you avoid that in the future? It shows up in a confusing way in threading email clients: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.science.linguistics.wikipedia.translators

commons: does not work on Commons since it's also a namespace name, but c: seems to work fine:
