Hi translators,
I have three brief requests for translations during this month related to the Inspire Campaign, where we are inviting ideas on how to measure aspects of community health in Wikimedia projects (for example, related to editor retention or the ability to learn how to successfully write a new article).
The two pages that need translation are the following:
- The most important document is the text for the CentralNotice banner. If you would like to translate something, I would prefer you devote your time to these two sentences if possible, as this is quite brief and will reach many, many editors.
- The next thing to translate is the landing page for the Inspire Campaign. Some of this already done from past campaigns, but some prose is new for this campaign specifically. Please note that the term "community health" does not translate well in all languages. For instance, in German, the term guten Arbeitsatmosphäre (trans. "good working atmosphere") is preferred. If you feel a direct translation in your language is awkward or carries negative connotations, please let me know.
- The last page to translate is this page on developing an idea for implementation. This does not need to be completed during the month-long campaign, but any translation work on the page is appreciated. It is much longer, and I do not expect this to be fully translated any time soon.
If translations could be provided for the first two items by Friday, July 27th, I would be very grateful.
