Hi folks,
Brief context: There is a new default sub-feature coming to Edit Check in
the week of October 6th. This Edit Check will appear when someone pastes
text into Wikipedia that has been copied directly from an external
generative AI chatbot. It can be used to point the person directly towards
any existing local policy on AI use, or left as the default to provide a
general caution.[1]
The relevant strings to translate are within this listing - or you can
filter it further to just the 10 specific strings by filtering for "LLM".

The feature will be announced in Tech News soon.
Note: The default strings and policy-link can and should be changed locally
if there is any specific local guidance related to LLM usage in articles.
Tech News will link to the specific page-names (in the docs[2]) that admins
can adjust. You can see a preview of how the default looks at testwiki.[3]
Much thanks to all,
Quiddity_(WMF) / Nick

Hi all,
I am writing to request to mark meta:Template:WMHKG_footer [1]
translatable. This is a footer template to be used by the Wikimedia
Community User Group Hong Kong on event pages.
I would also like some guidance on how to use and document the use of
this template. Should I always use it via {{TNT}}? How to indicate this
in the /doc subpage?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Regards,
