Hello, Philippe,
I understood from Keegan that you want me to suggest adapted donation sums
for the BG version of the landing page.
I would suggest 100, 50, 20, 10, 5 (if there is possibility for fifth
option) or (if not) only 100, 50, 20, 10.
The word "Other" translates as "Друга сума" or - if it's needed to be short
- "Друго".
Thank you in advance!
Vassia
Thanks to all the translators who have contributed to the translations
at http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Fundraising_2010/Translation. Your
work is truly appreciated.
We will be going up to 100% this Friday for testing throughout the
weekend. We have made a lot of progress but still need more translations
and proofreading to prepare for our launch date of November 15th.
Translations of the letter from Jimmy Wales and the "core messages" are
especially important unfortunately we are still missing translations of
the new letter and the new text strings.
We want to launch in as many languages as possible so that every
community is represented.
Best Regards,

Hi,
As you may have seen on the Wikimedia Blog, we just published an
illustrated licensing tutorial for Wikimedia Commons:
http://blog.wikimedia.org/blog/2010/11/05/illustrated-licensing-tutorial-wi…
The tutorial will be integrated into the new upload wizard (to be
enabled at the end of the month) and I'm coming to you today to help us
translate and localize it.
This translation request is a bit special, since it consists not only of
translating text, but also of localizing some of the graphics (if
needed).
If you feel uncomfortable updating / creating the graphics yourself, you
can focus on the translation and someone else will add your translation
to a localized version of the tutorial.
I already did the French translation, in order to identify the biggest
problems that could be encountered during the translation. I've added
some recommendations & instructions on the coordination page.
Please read them carefully, as it will save your time and ensure we can
publish your work in the software interface.
Many thanks in advance for your help!

If you have any question, comment or doubt, please ask on the talk page
and I'll do my best to help solve the issue.

Could I please get folks to look at the translations requests at http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Fundraising_2010/Translation ?
I'm surprised how few there are - we have to launch the fundraising campaign on Friday, and I'd hate to launch in English on those sites. Is there anything we can do to encourage you to work on them?
Your work is much appreciated....

Translators, The 2010 Fundraiser needs your help!
This year's fundraiser is to be a collaborative and a global effort.
Your translation help will ensure that we communicate our core message
to as many people as possible. This will help us to reach out to every
single person on the planet, expanding free access to the sum of all
human knowledge.
Like past fundraisers, we rely heavily on the team of translators to
translate the banners, forms, information pages, and more into the
languages we support. Some of the messages may not translate well, or
appeal to every audience, so when translating you are free to use the
words that fit your language and culture best or have an effect that is
similar to the one expressed in English. If there's no wording that will
work, please let me know.
We need your help for the following:
*_On Meta:
_*
** The FAQ and Core Messages are a good place to start:
http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Fundraising_2010/FAQhttp://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Fundraising_2010/Core_messages
** To see what banners and designs look like see:
http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Fundraising_2010/Messages/Testedhttp://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Fundraising_2010/Landing_pages
(Note, these designs may change)
** Please annotate your translations with *** if you feel your
contribution needs work or if you feel there is another that should not
be used.
*_At Translatewiki.net <http://Translatewiki.net>_*
** Help us by localizing the payflowpro gateway and the donate interface:

Our goals this year are aggressive, but achievable. The work that you
do on translation will help us realize the potential of this year's
fundraiser. We want to involve all the communities because we raise
funds to realize our shared aspirations.
Thank you in advance for your efforts. In this way you contribute to the
sustainability and expansion of this remarkable resource of human knowledge.
