Does Ganglia report correct data for memory usage?

It looks like something uses far too much memory. Or is that a characteristic of SunOS?

this is normal with Ganglia on Solaris. the number it uses is what Solaris calls 'swap space', but it's actually including real memory as well:
# swap -s total: 5653208k bytes allocated + 44352k reserved = 5697560k used, 5997384k available
i assume Ganglia doesn't understand this and duplicates real memory use as being swap use as well.
you can see that actually no swap space is in use:
# swap -l swapfile dev swaplo blocks free /dev/md/dsk/d12 85,12 8 20563192 20563192

sorry, if it's waiting on me to create it... i've been fairly busy recently. hopefully someone else will start adding accounts also :)
