So something else would be nice. I have been thinking about a planet-gear theme, you know, blue circle, red ball in the center, green "planets" around it. But i'm not good enough at using Inkscape to make decent interlocked cogwheels...
I think that putting many details (like the lot of colorful cogwheels) would make the logo too... well... detailed, and distracting.
