A recurring request is for the bot to not archive topics that have not been marked as such. The normal functionality is for the bot to archive any expired topic unless it is marked as <!-- noarchive -->. The wish is to be able to invert this behaviour, and only archive topics that are marked as (for example, to be determined) <!-- archive -->.

On Dutch Wikipedia, the pages for administrator notices (the Dutch equivalent for en:WP:AN) such as Wikipedia:Verzoekpagina voor moderatoren/Artikel verplaatsen are often not followed up by admins in good time. This causes the archival bot to archive these requests before them having been honored.

Benefits (why should this be implemented?):

Inverting the logic would prevent early archiving.
