It is to be noted that this case differs from T238647 that relates to misattribution within a single nomination.
What happens?:
Due to reasons not yet diagnosed the reporting party for one (seemingly unrelated) articles proposed for deletion is seen as being the nominator for several other such proposals. Due to the way MediaWiki pings work, the reporting party receives several pings due to mentions on user discussion pages. These are pages the nominator has nothing to do with.
What should have happened instead?:
The bot should properly detect who nominated the articles and not mix them up.

The bot version current as of May 2020 - September 1 2021. It probably has had this issue since its Python replacement in March 2019.
