I'm under the impression that I've added a reference correctly but am not seeing the Wikibooks page render the actual mailing list name:

What have I missed? Or if the reference was done correctly, where should I report the bug?

The name of the parameter should be "mailinglist" (without "-").

Looks like Wikibooks uses a different version of the template: https://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Template:Cite_mailing_list
