I don't think one exists. Doing a web search for "pdf to wiki" reveals a loot of other people want one too. There are quite a lot of pdf to html converters, he could try one of those and upload the pages in html. Then we could all pitch in and convert to wiki manually.

Anyone know tools to convert ms.doc or adobe.pdf format files to Wiki format? Like a script or website .. There is a gentleman who would like to contribute his German-language textbook to the project and has everything ready in these two formats. It is 150 pages w- 100 images, not a quick porting document.
Also, Sanford is asking about printing capabilities. Any word there ? Such as from the Rice project?
Good will to all, Karl

Hi, there is a problem making a link in the wikibooks mainpage. Who can help?
The problem is:
I wrote the title "photoschule Großformat" as a link on the wikibooks mainpage - but it is not to see on the screen.
Than I go to edit this page, I see it.
Sometimes there was in the mainpage written the correct titel AND an incorrect one - but I deleted the uncorrect titel before.
To this time I can´t see the link (but it is written in the edit-stile...)
best wishes
lars
