Looks interesting, though I had trouble with signing up to their newsletter (seems to be an issue with the submit button for me.)
What did catch my eye was this page : http://www.collegeopentextbooks.org/tour06.html which is a very simple list of tutorial pages for getting started with Connexions including videos of doing some very simple tasks (such as signing up, editing a book etc.) I wonder if we could produce something similiar for wikibooks (pretty sure we don't have this already, shout if I am wrong...)? I might take a look at what free screen capture software is out there sometime this week (unless anyone can point me in the direction of one?)
