Topic: Introduction to Wikisource for Programmers

Description: Wikipedia and its other projects like Wikisource,
Wiktionary are created by millions of contributors around the world in
300+ languages. Along with content contribution, it needs programmers
to develop many tools, bots, gadgets, widgets etc to help the life of
content editors, to build various applications on top of the open data
available.

In this talk, let us explore the basics of https://ta.Wikisource.org
one of the major resources of ebooks in tamil language.  The basic
things that every wiki developer should know will be explained.  Then,
we can discuss the need for programming contributions for wikisource.

We are planning for a hackathon. This session will help to contribute
to wikipedia and wikisource using python. Don't miss it.
