Hope you all are doing well.

<https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Foundation_Annual_Plan/2025-2026/…>
which have been tracked by WMF and will serve as a central focus of the
different aspects of the WMF Annual Plan for 2025-2026.
While we are discussing multiple trends; during the SAOCC we are hosting a
45 min session including breakouts in which we will discuss the following
trends in detail.
1.
Contributors: People participate eagerly in online spaces that provide
rewarding connections.
2.
Neutrality: Struggles over neutral and verifiable information threaten
access to knowledge projects and their contributors.
3.
Content and AI: Digital information that is created and verified by
humans is the most valuable asset in the AI tech platform wars.

Be Part of Wikisource History – Share Your Voice
Dear Wikisource Community Member,
We’re thrilled to announce an exciting new initiative: the first-ever
Wikisource Loves Proofreading Campaign — a global celebration of
collaborative proofreading across Wikisource projects.
Before we launch this event in October, we want to make sure it reflects
the voices and needs of our community. That’s where you come in.
We invite you to fill out a short survey to help us shape an inclusive,
diverse, and engaging campaign. Your insights will directly influence the
planning process and help create an experience that brings Wikisource
contributors together like never before.
Complete the survey by 01 May 2025: Survey link

The campaign will officially launch in October, with results and highlights
shared in November as part of Wikisource’s birthday celebration. All
responses will be used solely for planning purposes.
Let’s make this a milestone for Wikisource — and it all starts with your
input.
With gratitude,
NANöR
Wikisource Loves Proofreading Campaign Team
