The @wikicommosn account is mainly re-tweeing wikipedia stuff instead of posting about commons related stuff.
It is soo hard to get stuff posted there, And this is not my first attempt to get stuff announced there. It seems impossible.

Unfortunately, none of the POTY winner files are in the public domain. I am unsure if it possible to get a permission in the next days. A text-only announcement would be perfectly fine as well.

I can share from WMF verified accounts. Posting a past year's winner with the text would get much more attention. I don't see one that is PD or CC0. Do we have - or can we get - permission from one of the photographers?
