Much appreciated, Tilman!Looks like this fell through the cracks on Friday afternoon.Michael, this is what I was asking about in our standup yesterday. Let’s set up a more rigorous system for making sure the announcements go out when planned. But I am glad that we got the FB and G+ out this week, which will probably give this announcement a bit more traction. All the best,FabriceOn May 6, 2015, at 9:00 AM, Siko Bouterse <sbouterse@wikimedia.org> wrote:Thanks, Tilman!

on social media (this one had only been featured as a RT on Twitter so
far, and we also haven't posted

yet which might be partly my fault).
I just sent out the suggested tweet and also posted it on FB and G+.
FB doesn't have a character limit, but the thing to keep in mind there
is that the headline and an excerpt from the intro are visible anyway,
so one may want to avoid repeating these verbatim. I used the second
suggestion, but shortened the first sentence for that reason.

They will help engage women and allies around the world to improve Wikipedia’s coverage and quality -- as well as research and experiment with new ways to support gender diversity on Wikimedia projects.
