Hi all,Here is the proposed SM for today's blog post on Jorge Royan. Thanks for reviewing:Blog post:SM calendar:
Remembering Jorge Royan
- t: The Wikimedia Movement is saddened by the passing of Argentine architect, photographer, collaborator, Jorge Royan: https://blog.wikimedia.org/2014/08/20/remembering-jorge-royan/
- t: Architect, photographer, collaborator, friend - the Wikimedia movement mourns the passing of Jorge Royan: https://blog.wikimedia.org/2014/08/20/remembering-jorge-royan/
Prefer this one over the first one - "saddened" is an ok-ish expression when referring to a single organisation like in the post, but it is a bit weird when applied to the whole movement. Actually, I would suggest leaving it out altogether and writing instead "Wikimedians mourn the passing...".
- f/g: The Wikimedia Movement is saddened by the passing of Argentine architect, photographer, collaborator, Jorge Royan. https://blog.wikimedia.org/2014/08/20/remembering-jorge-royan/
Same here - I would suggest to reuse the modified wording of the second tweet above.
Spanish:
//blog.wikimedia.org/2014/08/20/remembering-jorge-royan/
Wouldn't it be a bit weird to have these linking to an English post when a Spanish version (the original) is available too?----
