I don’t like “Calling all Wikimedians”, sounds a bit exclusionist. Try “all photographers” or something instead?
t: The World's Largest Photography Competition is back! #wikilovesmonuments https://blog.wikimedia.org/2014/09/05/wiki-loves-monuments-2014-has-begun/
I like this!!
t: New countries competing this year in #wikilovesmonuments include: Iraq, Ireland, Lebanon, Macedonia and Pakistan:https://blog.wikimedia.org/2014/09/05/wiki-loves-monuments-2014-has-begun/
No need for a colon there ;)
f/g: "Wiki Loves Monuments helps all the participating countries get better coverage, but it's also a step in the right direction for helping those specifically lacking in coverage, especially in the Global South." I don’t know if “Global South” is a good term to use. I’ve personally never heard it outside of Wikimedia circles. I know this is a quote but it’d be good to clarify what this means even if it seems obvious.
best,
Joe
