As I understand, the blocking will be through Javascript, so the bots
will not be affected.
In the case of the Italian blacking, the bot could still get the pages
without problems, but all pages were also acting as if locked, so
edits were not possible.
Still, I do agree with Maarten that it would be good to check, of course.
