Thank xqt
I've given a gist link to an interested dev. I didn't write the code and I know it
is a mess. Anyway, if the person who contacted me can extract out anything to improve
pywikipedia, by all means I would like to see it pushed upstream back to pywikipedia. It
is pretty bespoke, but there may be some methods of wiki interaction which could be useful
to the pywikipedia framework.
Thanks
Tom

Hi Tom
I cannot say whether it is useful or not to include your script to pywikibot framework but
I would say all improvements and new behaviours are welcome. Is your code published
anywhere?
Best

Is there anybody interested in doing some development work with the pywikipedia framework
writing a custom bot.
I can supply the current python script being used and it’s helper. But I really need to
see this upgraded to a framework that’s stable and going to be supported. The helper was
based off of python-simplemediawiki which hasn’t been updated in 2 years.
Thanks!
Tom
