Yes it is recommended to split library parts from split parts. The problem might be that nobody knows which script parts are reused by private scripts.
We already did such transitions in the past.
1. Creating new library.
2. Archivebot takes the patterns from new library, but its own classes are kept for a time, and write a deprecation message on user's console.
3. Half a year or a year transition time before they are removed.
