occurs only 11 times, and there is a total of 1270 calls to
output function.
This was intentional. A user complained that the bot was writing
informational messages to stdout, when the user wanted to use the bot
Unix-style to pipe the output to another process; thus, stdout should only
be used for the actual output of the process rather than informational
messages.
