As someone who's submitted a few patches, I didn't experience *awful*
delays, but looking at the open patchsets, I have to agree that the backlog
is disturbingly large.
I think a possible solution is empowering more people to review patch sets.
Making a review guide would help a lot; publicizing the style guide would
help as well.
