Just to use this thread, I'd like to underline that br tag should be used as little as possible. I.e. I see lots of improper use into the project I mainly work in (wikisource).

Hello,

Thank you for these explainations. I have created an account on phabricator and added a comment.

I will remember next time to directly use phabricator (but can't promise I will not forget).

Regards

Hi Hercule,

most appreciate way of reporting issues to Pywikibot is Wikimedia ticket system (tickets for Pywikibot are available under: https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/tag/pywikibot-core/). It would be great, if You could register yourself there and if in future have any issue with PWB, just repotr it there.

As regarding Your issue with <br> -> <br /> we already have a ticket fot that (https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T143083) and if You want to be up to date about it, yet again, register on Phabricator as add yourself to subscribers of this ticket.

regards,
TM

Hello,

I'm not sure to have reported this to the correct mailing list because I have no news about it.

According to a frwiki user, the cosmetic change <br> -> <br /> is incorrect because the correct tag is <br> , even if <br /> accepted.

See

Can someone correct this on default cosmetic changes used by Pywikipedia scripts ?

Regards

Hercule
