Thank you Jan, Jan and Stevie for the nice
welcoming!
You'll be hearing a lot from me on this list. At the moment, I'm making
an issues overview which aims at listing issues currently in the EU
legislative pipeline that may affect Wikimedia activities in one way or
another. The overview, which will be up soon in unfinished form, will give
a brief description of each proposal, explain where in the legislative
process the proposal currently is and discuss how it may affect Wikimedia
projects. This will be a starting point for the process of prioritizing.
Any additions and edits from others will be greatly appreciated.
I'm also diving into the projects that Dimi already has up to speed.
My organizational affiliation is with the Swedish Wikimedia, so I
report to the Swedish office. That being said, since most proposals we deal
with are of a pan-European nature I'm looking forward to working with you
all for better EU regulation.
speak to you soon,
Karl
