Since SOPA, we've seen a steady trickle of advocacy groups approaching us and asking us to banner or shut down for a variety of causes/events/etc. Not surprisingly, they usually come away frustrated.
I think that a lot of the frustration stems from two sources:
- misunderstanding who we are/what we do
- confusion about how best to ask us when there is a legitimate problem.
