Hi everyone,

I want to let you know about a recent victory for the WMF in Germany. The German court of appeals dismissed the case of Evelyn Schels v. Wikimedia Foundation. The court held that biographical information about Schels, such as her birthdate, was appropriate for an article about her as a notable figure when it was obtained from a public source.
