Hi Franziska,
Today we are pleased to announce our partnership with the Open Culture Foundation (OCF) for RightsCon 2025 (Taipei and online, February 24-27)!
Launched in 2014 by members of Taiwan’s open source community, the Open Culture Foundation (OCF) advocates for open technology as a means to secure digital rights and internet freedoms. A trusted organization in Taiwan and longtime RightsCon community member, OCF helps governments, enterprises, and NGOs understand the benefits of adopting open source technologies, and promote the importance of open data to the public sphere.
Bringing their extensive experience supporting international conveinings in Taiwan and vibrant network of tech and civil society groups in the region, OCF will play a pivotal role in expanding and strengthening our multi-stakeholder model and enabling access to our summit, ensuring RightsCon remains a dynamic, vibrant, and diverse space for the community.
We believe OCF is the ideal partner to support our mission to not only bring RightsCon to East Asia, but to bring East Asia to RightsCon! Learn more on our blog.
We’ll talk to you soon,
Elan, Reetz, and the RightsCon team
P.S. If you need travel support, don’t forget to apply through our Community Support Fund by September 6 via the RightsCon Proposal Portal. As our funding is limited, be sure to check out the eligibility requirements and selection criteria on our website.
