Dear all, dear Pete,

We're currently running a project for Leicester City Council (UK), seeking to promote the update and sharing of OER within secondary schools. I really think this is a visionary step - and I am not aware of other (UK) councils doing this. The aim is to produce guidance materials for teachers (as well as ideas for teacher workshops), on the use/re-use/sharing/remixing of OER, from various aspects (including, but not restricted to, legal considerations).

We'd love to involve the wider community in this. Is this something that people on this list would like to take an interest in? Do you want to participate as a community? Or are there others who would like to participate individually?

While we are producing a set of pdfs for Leicester, we do want to host the materials in as many places as possible - and of course could place them in the relevant wiki spaces - what do you think?

All the best,
Bjoern
