The CC GLAM Certificate provides an in-depth study of Creative Commons licenses and open practices in the GLAM sector, uniquely developing participants’ open licensing proficiency and understanding of the broader context for open advocacy. The curriculum targets copyright law, CC legal tools, how GLAM institutions open their cultural works, as well as the values and good practices of working in a global, shared commons. The CC Certificate is offered as a 10-week online course for GLAM community members, educators, and academic librarians.
