Hi there,
Hope you're doing well!
I'm writing on behalf of the newly formed Conference Committee that was mentioned, for the culture and heritage community within the Wikimedia Movement. We're looking for the next affiliate to host our thematic conference, and we've just opened a call for Expressions of Interest!
This next conference will build on the great success of GLAM Wiki (2023 and 2025) and the 2025 Libraries conference — and we'd love for your affiliate to consider stepping up as host.
You can find all the details, criteria, and next steps on Meta-wiki here: https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Call_for_Expression_of_Interest_%E2%80%94_W…
The deadline to submit is October 20, so don't wait too long!
If any questions come up along the way, please don't hesitate to reach out — happy to help.
Best,
Connor
Hi everyone,
This is your reminder that next Tuesday, 22 September, is the next Global
GLAM Call. These are monthly community calls with a collaborative agenda
that usually covers all kinds of culture and heritage related topics in the
WIkimedia movement. Every month, for more than 2 years, dozens of community
members have gathered online to exchange ideas and projects and discuss
different ongoing activities.
This month there is a very interesting agenda that will include a few
project updates as well as a cultural commons dialogue with partners such
as the Open Knowledge and Open Future!
Hope you will be able to join! Register here:

other community calls:
