Hello Community Members,
I write to officially inform you about The Ghana Polls project.[1]
It is a campaign that is targeted at increasing Ghana’s visibility on Wikipedia and the web at large by curating and creating content about Ghana’s election process and the key actors involved.

We have selected a few members to participate in an election-2020 hackathon, which consists of live updates on Wikipedia on the night of the elections. The selections were made based on members' active status within the community and their interest in contributing to the project.

With the conversation running simultaneously on Social media via #TheGhanaPolls2020, every community member can play a role in contributing to the success of this campaign.

We encourage every community member to go out and vote. We also encourage you to share content (photos, videos) about events unfolding in and around polling stations, with us on social media and especially on whatsapp.

A Whatsapp group will be specially created and the link sent out for those interested in sharing these contents with us.
Content can later be uploaded on Commons [2] and will add to the edits of contributors.

Looking forward to having you onboard this project.

Regards,
Jeffter
