Dear Members of OFWA,

I hope this email finds you and your families in good health. Following occurrences of the pandemic a lot of our activities have been limited to online engagements and because we know how important it is to have physical interactions we have started looking into initiatives that can allow some in-person engagements following all guidelines laid down by the government and the WHO.

I write to inform all members of our community that the board is opening 2 seats for occupancy. These seats as per our bylaws are to be occupied by candidates from our community who meet the necessary requirements. Please refer to the membership bylaws on who can vie for a board seat as well as learn more about who can vote.

Quick facts about the role:

• The position will last for a duration of 1 year.
  
• Board seats can be occupied by active members of our community.
  
• Elections will take place at our Annual General Meeting later this year whether in person or virtual (actual date will be communicated, but usually in December).
  
• Members who want occupy the position must complete the form, their status will be checked and confirmed before community elections (to ensure applicant meets necessary requirements outline in membership bylaws).
