Please be reminded of the Annual General Meeting as announced by the board of Open Foundation West Africa.
The 2020 Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Saturday,19th December, 2020 from 10am to 2pm. We are particularly excited about the opportunity to report back on our activities and to celebrate our achievements as a unit.
A few months ago we announced openings for community seats on the board. It was exciting to see interest from the community, however amongst all those that applied only one applicant met the requirement for vying for the position. In view of this, we are currently interviewing this person (as there will be no need to vote on one person) and most likely will announce the new board member at the AGM if they meet the boards expectations.
In view of the current Global pandemic, this year's AGM will be held virtually. We will also for the first time include an award ceremony to honour members of our community that have contributed exceptionally to our projects and work across the movement.
