Dear Community Members,
You’re by this mail, receiving another of the Annual General Meeting as
announced by the board of Open Foundation West Africa.
The 2020 Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held today, *Saturday,19th
December, 2020 *from *10am *to *2pm.* We are particularly excited about
the opportunity to report back on our activities and to celebrate our
achievements as a unit.
A few months ago we announced openings for *community seats on the board*.
It was exciting to see interest from the community, however amongst all
those that applied only one applicant met the requirement for vying for the
position. In view of this, we are currently interviewing this person (as
there will be no need to vote on one person) and most likely will announce
the new board member at the AGM if they meet the boards expectations.
In view of the current Global pandemic, this year's AGM will be held
virtually. We will also for the first time include an *award ceremony* to
honour members of our community that have contributed exceptionally to our
projects and work across the movement. Join us to celebrate our maiden *OFWA
Star Performer of the Year 2020*. Find details of the event [1] via the
corresponding link and join us via the Google Meet link below.[2]
To help us do a better job at meeting your needs we are keen on hearing
your thoughts about how we fared via our end of year evaluations form. We
encourage you to take 5 minutes out of your busy schedule to fill the
evaluation form [3] to enable us to tailor our events and programmes to
your needs.

Dear Community Members,
As part of our attempt to include everyone in *The Ghana Polls project *[1],
we've compiled a list of pages that need to be updated on Wikipedia.
Kindly follow the corresponding link [2] and choose from a wide range of
options available.
Please note that the project will be running simultaneously on Social media
via #TheGhanaPolls2020 and every community member can play a role in
contributing to the success of this campaign.
We encourage every community member to go out and vote. We also encourage
you to share content (photos, videos) about events unfolding in and around
polling stations, with us on social media and especially on Whatsapp.
A *Whatsapp group *[3] has been *specially created* for those interested in
sharing content with us on the day.
Content can later be uploaded on Commons [4] and will add to the edits of
contributors.
Looking forward to having you onboard this project.

to the success of this campaign.
We encourage every community member to go out and vote. We also encourage
you to share content (photos, videos) about events unfolding in and around
