If you remember the old offline-wiki google site, it's been rewritten and is back online.  I met Kevin, its maintainer, at the DWeb summet last week: he's still thinking deeply about these things.  [elsewhere at the event we talked about effective ways to distribute incremental updates to knowledgesets like this; something that should be connected to the related thinking withink kiwix :)]
