I am also very interested in developing effective governance tools that involve all our users -- and in working on other strategic projects that can enable positive change in our movement.

I realize this new opening is a competitive search, and I'm prepared to explore other opportunities at WMF and beyond if I'm not selected for this job.

I am confident that our team will be successful in meeting its goals, now that it is fully staffed and up to speed. And I can't wait to release Media Viewer, our new immersive multimedia browser, later this quarter.

Notifications are now helping millions of users stay informed and work more effectively. Our Thanks tool is used widely to share positive feedback throughout our community. Beta Features now lets us test new software long before it's released. And we've learned important lessons from our Page Curation and Article Feedback experiments. Lastly, our new Roundtables program is helping us collaborate productively with our community to plan and develop new products (4).

I really enjoyed working with you on the multimedia team over the summer. Thank you for all the hard work you have put in to bringing the multimedia team to where it is today.

Best of luck with the new opening.
