Closed captioning bug now filed as https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T140267 This bug is a big deal for my project, and probably affects Fundraising and other people who may need to use video translations, so I would encourage putting a high priority on getting that fixed.

Is there a phab ticket for video flyovers? I searched briefly but didn't see a ticket that appeared to correspond to this. The flyovers would be very nice to have for my project, although not essential.

Thanks,

Pine

Interesting that you mention closed captions, because for me they're not working in Firefox, at least not in this video: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:%C2%BFQu%C3%A9_es_Wikipedia%3F.ogv. But they do work in IE. Can you check to see if you can get CC working for you in Firefox in that video? If not, I'll file a Phabricator bug or +1 if it's been reported already.

What about abusing the closed captions feature. I believe it supports links.
