Yikes, it's scary how many things in our sites folks get confused by... it surprises me every time I see one of these videos. Also shows that much of UI experience is in the details, not so much in the bigger picture...


What I liked was that the small 'dock bounce' made one of the users notice that there was 'something happening' there.

Perhaps we can do the bounce animation again if people hover the panel ? so don't totally move it up, just extend the page by the bounce height when people open the page, a bit similar to the left/right buttons ?

As a really quick summary we can say that the basic design concept and the way we present information and controls seem to work, while some aspects such as the connection with Commons info page and license details need more clarity.
