Hello mobile Wikimedians,The iOS app team just pushed an initial beta of our next major update to our TestFlight channel. If you'd like to enroll as an iOS beta tester please sign up here:This beta includes the following major changes:- New Places tab: explore Wikipedia content near you or even on the other side of the globe. This is a major update of our geolocation based "Nearby" feature is now called places, since it does a lot more than show you whats nearby. Places includes a map based interface for browsing, extended geo search capabilities, and even the ability to see where your saved articles are located.- New login system: totally re-written login system, including support for password reset, accessible account creation and 2FA for Admins, with more improvements to come before release.- Bug fixes for issues with Share-a-Fact, face recognition and lead images, and searching with apostrophes.We look forward to your feedback!Thanks,Josh MinorPM, Wikipedia app for iOS
