Yes, we're using the mapbox API for Android. There's one for iOS and Web, too.
Its pretty cool. It allows for customized tooltips on the place markers.We were hitting the OSM servers directly. As far as I understand we would need to switch to a different service, like i believe Yuri and Max working on.
